Hoarding cleanouts in Columbus, handled quietly and without judgment.
The crew has done these before. Nothing in the house is going to surprise them and nobody is going to comment on it. Call for yourself, for a parent, for a tenant or for a client, and you don't have to send a single photo to get a price.
The floor comes back first.
Work usually starts at a doorway and moves in. Once a path opens, the room empties faster than anyone expects, and by the end the floor is bare and swept.
Most people are braced for a lecture that never comes. The crew's job is the room. That's the whole of it.
What we don't do.
- No photos required
Describe it on the phone if that's easier. Plenty of people do, and it doesn't change the price.
- Nothing of yours ends up in an ad
CBUS Junk Removal doesn't use photographs of customer homes in its marketing, before or after.
- No commentary
The crew works the room, loads the truck, and leaves. Nobody discusses the house on the way out.
- You decide who's involved
If you're arranging this for someone else, tell us who to contact and who not to.
What goes, and what needs somebody else.
Goes on the truck
- Household contents at any depth, floor to ceiling
- Furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics
- Newspapers, magazines, mail, boxes, bags, clothing
- Kitchen contents, including spoiled food in sealed bags
- Garage, basement, attic and shed contents
- Full-house jobs across multiple days and multiple trucks
Needs a specialist first
- Human or animal waste in volume, sharps, anything needing remediation
- Mold, structural rot, or a floor that isn't safe to stand on
- Asbestos, chemicals, solvents, propane, ammunition
- Anything a health department has flagged for abatement
Four steps, at the pace you set.
Describe it however is easiest
Form, text, or a phone call. Rough is fine. Nobody needs an inventory or a room-by-room list.
Get a price
Larger houses get walked first so the number holds. You'll know what it costs before anyone starts.
Say what gets saved
Documents, photographs, cash, jewelry, keepsakes. Name the categories and the crew sets them aside instead of loading them.
The crew clears it
One room, one floor, or the whole house, over as many days as it takes.
Say what you want kept, and it gets kept.
On almost every one of these jobs something turns up. Cash in books, a deed, an urn, a wedding ring, service records, photographs nobody knew existed.
Name the categories before the first load and the crew sets them aside for you rather than making the call themselves.
What the price depends on.
Volume, access, and how many days it takes. Nothing else. There's no surcharge for the state of the house.
Access counts for more on these jobs than on a normal pickup. A lot of these houses are on the near east side or in Franklinton, where the only way out is down a narrow hall to an alley, and that's a much longer carry than a driveway.
A house that needs three truckloads is quoted as three truckloads. You get the number before the crew starts, and adding a room means a new number agreed out loud, not a surprise at the end.
Included on every job: loading, hauling, and a sweep of what's been cleared.

Hoarding cleanout FAQ.
No. Some people meet the crew at the door and leave. If you'd rather not be in the house while it's happening, arrange access and we'll text you when it's done.
No. This is a private job between you and the company doing it. We don't notify anyone, we don't report anything, and the address doesn't appear anywhere in our marketing.
Yes, and often that's better. If they want to stop and check a box before it goes, the crew stops. The one thing that doesn't work is starting without their agreement.
Then the crew tells you before quoting, and that part needs a remediation company first. You'll get that answer on day one instead of watching a truck turn around in the driveway.
Usually more than a day. Two to four is common for a packed single-family house, depending on how much comes out and how far it has to be carried. You'll be told which when it's priced.
Yes. Some families book a room, see how it goes, and schedule the rest after. There's no requirement to commit to the whole house.
Tell us the date in your request. Inspections, closings and lease ends drive most of these jobs, and scheduling works backward from the deadline.
